It's Been A While..

The last time I wrote was February 11th. Today is July 20th. It's been a while.

This is the first summer I have experienced where I have truly been happy. I got out of the hospital almost a year ago and I still feel like it was just yesterday. However, that's a good thing. The world still looks brand new and beautiful. I appreciate everything around me. The people in my life, the area I live in, my material possessions as well as emotional. Though I'm still in the process, I feel like I'm finally getting a grip on who I am. Who I want to be.
I saw a video the other day that really touched me. It was called "Meet Jade" and I encourage you to look it up. Jade made the video three days before she killed herself. She talked about how on the outside, she looks happy. But if you dig a little deeper, you would be able to see that she's not. We all have a story. We've all been through our trials, and they may seem small to some people, but when YOU are the one going through it, it doesn't feel so small. I guess what I'm trying to say is that that video hit close to home. I strive to be kind to people. I want to be an example to those who associate with me. I don't feel like ANYONE deserves to be sad.


On a less heavy note.. Here's what's going on in the life of me.

• Jadie flies in tomorrow. Could I be anymore excited? I don't think so.
• I'm the only one who cleans at my house. I'm tired, but a clean house is so worth it.
• I put Christmas lights up around my room. Yes, in July.
• I'm still addicted to energy drinks.
• I got a car.
• Still looking for a job.
• I legitimately like a boy for the first time in a long time.
• I can't stop thinking about him.

Horoscope: Enjoy yourself, Capricorn. You have a lot to be grateful for, so give thanks. Take pride in all you've accomplished so far and share your joy with others. Let go of the reins and sit back comfortably for a while. You've worked hard for a reason - to enjoy life. If you don't do it now, then when? Take time out and be with loved ones tonight
