New things, new places.

I have recently decided to live with my dad for the summer. I lived here last summer, but all I did was sleep. So this summer should be lots more fun:] It'll be nice to spend all that time with my papa and siblings as well.

  • Go boating
  • Travel as much as possible

  • Go swimming at least a bazillion times
  • Count every single red bull I drink (So far I'm at 8)

Laaaammeee.

It's 10:24 and long story short, I'm just barly getting started with babysitting four crazy kids. As frustrating as it is, I can't even tell you how excited it makes me to be a mother for my own children someday. Of course that day won't come till much, much later on, I can't help but get excited.

Anyway, my life is pretty boring right now. All that has been going on is school, school, boyfriend, school, family, school, school, friends, and school. Mostly school. Thank goodness it's almost over :] I'm psyched for summer time.

My Goals

Sometimes it's just good to make a list of your goals, yeah?

  • Finish school
  • Get a job
  • Save my money (Don't spend it all on red bull)
  • Try out for the soccer team and make it
  • Eat right and exercise
  • Visit Jordan
  • Buy some more dresses (Kind of clashes with the third goal)
  • Smile as much as possible
  • Be a good example
  • Go to church

Sound good?

Just a little rant.

I’m not sure who is going to read this, but I want to say thank you in advance to anyone who does. It’s definitely one of those nights where you feel like you need to pour your heart out or you’ll explode. So here it goes.

This is what I’ll be writing about tonight;

  • Love
  • My future
  • Mishaps
  • Getting back on my feet

Love: Someone in my English class said “Love is like a butterfly. If you hold onto it too tight, you will crush it. If you don’t hold onto it tight enough, it’ll get away.” The more my relationship with Brent progresses the easier it is to believe that. I don’t really know what love is to be honest. But when I think about Brent, I get a pretty good idea. I recently was blessed with a learning experience. I won’t go into details, but lately our relationship relates almost exactly with that high school kid quote. I’m sure this doesn’t make sense. If it doesn’t make sense to you then it’s not supposed to. But what I’m saying is, put your self in the other person’s shoes. See things from their point of view. Also, take time to yourself. You need it. If you care enough to want whatever you have to last, you have to welcome alone time.

My Future: On October 28th, I talked about my perfect GPA and how I wanted to continue that throughout the year. Long story short, it didn’t happen. I have just over a month to get my grades up and graduate this year running strong. To put it bluntly, I haven’t been trying my hardest and I regret it. But tonight, I had a wake up call. I am going to get my act together because I deserve a good future… if I earn it. And that is what I want.

Mishaps: Basically the point of this subject is that I’m glad I’m Mormon! I am so grateful that I know of the gift of repentance and have the comfort of the knowledge that God will forgive me. I lost my footing recently but I’m back on my feet. It’ll stay that way too. :]

Getting Back on My Feet: I pretty much had a life changing epiphany tonight. I want to be a better person.

Thanks for reading. Ask questions if you please, I will be happy to answer them.
